I need to get some more into my CD player. :)

I recently downloaded the album Hot Fuss by the Killers - uh, this is why downloading music is a good thing. So you know when NOT to buy a CD. I liked 2 out of 11 songs - needless to say, I won't exactly be running out to buy it anytime soon.

2. Franz Ferdinand only yielded 2-3 songs
that I care for. As for "good", I'm on a Queens of the Stone Age bender right now. If you like heavy shit, this is the one.

3. Totally disagree
The Killers album is the best thing I've heard in years (next to Franz Ferdinand). I very rarely buy new music, so I can't name any "worst" albums. I really like the 80s feel to the Killers. Keyboards are making a comeback!!

6. Well, what do you like?

Dierdre isn't bad: http://www.sixdegreesrecords.com/artists.php?artist=Dierdre (audio samples on site)

And 13 & God are pretty good, too: http://www.splendidezine.com/review.html?reviewid=1109934025917214 (one audio clip w/review)

And, yeah, the Killers SUCK. Lame recycling of '80's UK electro-pop/rock. They need to go the hell away.

9. Long-view is very good too
Sometimes it's spelled Longview. They remind me a little bit of Coldplay.
