Thank you Bob Segar!
it has been a bitch of a two weeks. work has been busy, took on a new project that is taking longer than i anticipated, and it is tax season!

well, this morning i hopped in the car and found a bob segar and the silver bullet band cassette in my cassette holder and popped it into the player. as night moves came on, it brought me back to a less stressful time.

it brought back just hanging at the rusty nail in sunderland dancing the night away to the stompers or the fools. getting slammed during nrbq or just trying to hit on some girl out of my league at the bar.

it brought back a time when good beer cost 5 dollars a case and you had to start drinking at 6 before you went out with your friends.

or going to a house party because some poor person invited some friends over because his/her parents were away and tried to keep the house in some order for fear that we would break something.

well badck to work.

5. Sorry, you lose me on this one
Seger is one of a handful of artists that is guaranteed to get me to change the radio station.

Yes, I know he's a liberal, but I just don't find anything he's created (musically speaking) to be worthy of a record contract. His stuff reminds me of the kid's down the street with their garage band.

I guess he's just not my cup of tea.

I really doubt that Bob has turned frother, since the last time I talked with him. I suspect that his wife would have something to say about that. ;-)

Bob is a classic Ann Arbor MI progressive.

On edit: In the early days, three people who worked for him were John Sinclair, Pun Plamondon and still "with" him, Craig Blazier.

Google them up. Not Pigboy listeners, they.
