One of my friends, a guy named Steve, is now 62 years old and is very politically aware today, but he admits that when he was in his twenties he was completely self-absorbed and couldn't have cared less about politics or current events.
Which leads me to wonder, is there anyone here who didn't pay attention to politics until they were relatively older? As in, they were over 30 when they started taking an interest in current events, politics, the economy, etc? I know a lot of people who are in their twenties and completely politically ignorant. I'm sure most of them will stay that way, but maybe one or two of them will wise up when they get older?
