Are anyone else's allergies fucking brutal lately?
For the last 3 days I haven't been able to breathe, my eyes are itchy and my left ear is clogged.

I have some leftover Flonaze at home but I have to wait until Friday afternoon to go home. Until then I must suffer. Also I have to stretch out my medication because due to my crappy insurance it will cost me over $50 for a re-fill. Thanks Republicans!

2. Not me, but my wife is going crazy
I suspect actually that my regular use of Flonase has been helping.

4. Does Claritin work for you?
It doesn't help everyone but for me it's a miracle drug.

Sorry to hear that - hopefully where you live will get some rain to wash all the pollen out of the air...

11. Yep
Continuous nasal drip, itchy eyes (one bloodshot to hell), nasty cough, and my teeth even hurt. (I didn't find out until just recently that teeth hurting is actually a side-effect of bad allergies.)

I had a worse case around this time last year, but the worst may still be yet to come.

I figure it's partly because of the nasty conditions of where I live, but my allergies just seem to be getting worse with every year anyway.

12. Try Benadryl
I had an allergic reaction to a new antibiotic (my tongue swelled and throat was closing, the doctor prescribed Benadryl. They also advocate for use with people have severe reactions to bee stings. (another problem I have).

It is sold over the counter in a lower dosage. I have sinus problems and it the only thing (outside of steroidal Flonase, Vaconase, etc.), that lets me breath. It is also, < $10.00.

13. Cool, thanks for the suggestion
I was planning on trying something, soon; I wasn't sure until today just how bad it was gonna get.

I've used Benadryl before and it was very effective. Plus, it totally knocked me out which is the best state to be in if you're feeling miserable!

14. YES, YES, YES
It's weird because you are in NJ and I am in OK, but they have been kicking my ass for the last three days.

How can this be explained? Seasonal, not regional, I guess.

I actually test negative on all the allergy tests. When the baramatric pressure changes, I have eye, ear and throat problems. They haven't been able to figure it out yet, though I have kinda given up on doctors lately.

When the pressure charges, I have mucous forming on my throat (I forget the test, but they put things up your nose and down your throat. My doctors are confounded on the pockets of mucous in my throat. They have even asked me what was causing it, like I would know.

I also notice, living in a condo, when they exterminate or pesticide the property, I am affected.

I have also taken Ventilin (sp?), read the product material, it is really scary. It has Benzene something in it and makes me shake terribly.

Benadryl, is the safest product that really helps.
