Is the Lounge just a waste of time?

What other things could you be doing RIGHT NOW that aren't getting done? I'm supposed to be writing a review of a movie called "The Upside of Anger" which is due on Friday, April 1st.

Luckily, my co-author (my husband) is doing it right now, leaving me free to cohabit with you ALL --

But people do a lot of things to pass the time and this is less destructive than many of them.

So many things in life must have a direct purpose or else they aren't worth doing. Time at work has to be productive time. Well if you're below a certain level in the administrative ladder anyway. We need quality time with the family. Just once it's nice to have a place to let off steam and let the opinions fly. Everyone needs a place like this.

That's why I left DU completely for about three weeks or so. I was looking for a new place to live, so I didn't have the luxury of spending countless hours here in the Lounge.

As you can probably guess, I finally found a new place today. That's why I'm back (not that any of you noticed... :P )

I Could Read to the kids, but hubby is doing that now.

I COULD read the next George RR Martin book...... BUT HE HASN'T WRITTEN IT YET!!!!
