Daily Show repeat of lunatic Rep wants to ban gay abortions
Have you all seen that one? Dupre is his name, he's proposed a bill to prevent abortion of fetuses because of projected sexual orientation. Of course he hates gays. Can't the Dems use fools like this guy to show how insane the other side is?

3. I heard something about Stewart's new contract
that he has negotiated more time to work on other projects. He also has a show on CNN International. I think they should do the show without him and have Steven Colbert sit at the "anchor" desk when Jon is away.

You would simply not think it possible for anyone to be as crazy as that Rep character. Of course, I felt that way about a number of the Republican Senatorial candidates who all managed to win.

4. Yeah a lot of those guys were psychos
I dont know why Coburn and Demint were so afraid of lesbians, what kind of hetero men are they :D, just teasing, but damn those views were down right disturbing. Imagine if Keyes had won.

6. Keyes was in IL so he couldn't
but if he'd been in South Carolina or Oklahoma, his craziness wouldn't have stopped him, but his skin color is a non-starter for most Southern Republicans.

9. Yep
That is true. Though to be fair to the Okies, they did elect JD Watts, I think Carson may have been able to beat Keyes if Keyes ran there but only a dem like that, and it would still be close.

12. yes, I thought of Watts
so I tempered my original remarks a bit.

Say, did you see that thread dedicated to someone's Mom thinking you would kill their whole family?

13. Yeah Duckie and I are pals
and she's invited me to her wedding in October, and her loony mom thinks me and another friend of ours are gonna rape and kill her. Duckie is practically like an older sister to me in many ways.

20. Are you feeling better or weaker?
as a result of being run down, too rapid weight loss, etc..? I mean, I hope it's a positive rather than a negative health development.

7. Or they could bring Kilborn back to guest host
he's not doing anything. Maybe Jon would be threatened by someone guest hosting since that is how he got the job.

26. the show on CNNinternational....
is just a compilation of the daily show's previous week's best bits with a quick intro and outro for each episode. it's called Daily Show Global Edition. and it kept me with a methadone alternative to my daily show fix while i was in germany this month.

22. Duprey is, thankfully, a member of the minority here in Maine
Dems have the House and the Senate and the Governor so he's pretty well marginalized.

Just as long as people don't paint all Mainers with the gay-hating, idiot brush that Duprey represents. He's a whacko! Anyone want him to move to your state...please?

I did like his refusal to play along with the Bangor thing. It's pronounced BANG-gore! :)

From the House GOP website:

He also received the Maine Association of Broadcasters “Friend of the First Amendment” Award in 2001. Rep. Duprey is CEO of Duprey Enterprises, Inc., the largest daycare enterprise in Maine.

Rep. Duprey and his wife, Carol, have five children, whom they home school.
