Today in my state and local govt. class the Terri Schiavo case was brought up and one of the fundies said "Well according to what I have heard on the radio, doctors are saying that Terri is in better shape than Christopher Reeve was before he died."

When I called him on his bullshit he said "From what I have heard she is having conversations with people while she is dying!"

Here is where is gets good. When I asked "Well if she is well enough to speak why the hell hasn't she said 'Hey how about hooking me back up to the feeding tube'", he replied "That is the problem with you liberals! You're in such a rush to murder her that you just won't listen to FACTS!"

How the hell do we lose elections to these people?
