George Bush made me late for jury duty this morning.

They had cops at every exit on the already bumper-to-bumper 60 freeway.. It took me an HOUR and a HALF to go 14 miles.:grr:..

THEN I found out when I got to Riverside, that I had to drive to Banning.. 30 some miles the other direction... Got there and 1/2 hour later they sent us home.. :P what a system..:silly:..

I did make a cop laugh, though..

There were cops surrounding the parking garage, and when I left I walked over and asked this question..

"Since "goofball" is in town, and the exits are being closed, what would be the fastest way to get out of town?"..

He laughed and then gave the the easiest route out.. I was the first one to arrive in Banning, and I even stopped for directions and coffee on the way :)
