107. Happy Birthday, Moonchild!
We have the same birthday!!

Also shared with Courtney Love, Fred Savage, and Brian Dennehy.

It's also "National Sugar Cookie Day", for what that's worth.

81. I don't mean to sound disingenuous,
but I really am not famous. I've written two books whose sales are in the low four digits, made some music videos and been in a few super low-budget movies. It would be hard to even make a case for highly localized fame for me.

The list was one of those internet birthday lists. I'm one of these schmoes:

116. Sorry. I hate spelling errors. My five kids used to rebel when --
-- I had to check their school papers years ago.

Sample dialogue:

KID: Please look at this paper I have to turn in today.

MOM: (AFTER A FEW MINUTES OF READING) Look at all the spelling errors! Why don't you use the dictionary when you write?

KID: Can't you just read it for content? I don't care about the spelling.

MOM: No, I care. Your teacher cares. Your future bosses and editors will care. Fix these now.

155. Yes, that's true. Little victories help, don't they?
Barbara is much more prevalent that Barbra -- as a matter of fact, I don't know anyone else who spells her name like Streisand does.

By the way, do you know what ever happened to Barbra's sister, Rosalind (I forget her last name -- she was Barbra's half-sister, by another father).

She tried to start a singing career, but I don't know if it ever went anywhere.
