The difference between rehearsals and a real live performance with the electricity only an audience can provide... very sharp indeed.

6 weeks of rehearsals have paid off. This production is a winner.

If you happen to stumble into northern Arizona tonight, or next Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, do yourself a favor and buy a ticket.

I love the devotion the locals here have to live theater. I was buying coffee at Late For The Train (a local coffee joint) this past Monday, and was recognized again for my work in 'A Christmas Story' 3 months ago. Who needs coffee with a buzz like that? ;-)

Next venture... Long Beach, California, and its community theater, by year's end. California, here I come. :D

(For fans of this play, I am playing Pozzo, hence the sig line)

4. I have set a deadline
So that my stay in Arizona last 2 years almost to the day. :-)

I was born in southern California, so in effect, I am going home, full circle, after years of wandering and exploration. The adventure will continue of course, as I stand in the shadow of Los Angeles. :-)

:hi: Lynz!

I was a member of their resident chorus for 7 years. It's a fabulous venue.

But Long Beach has a bunch of other really great theatres. Can't wait to tell my friends, Go see ZombyWoof!

31. Godot is a used car salesman.
That's what the techs decided when working on a production in university. I was the stage manager - and had to call the show from backstage... there were 9 cues to call. Do you know how boring that show is when you are sitting backstage in the dark waiting to operate the ropes to change the sun and moon? I fell asleep at my desk during one matinee... awakened only by the sound of my lighting op's voice in my ear over the headsets. I adored that show until that production. By the way, it was an all female cast except for Lucky.

Congrats on the good opening - I hope the run goes well.

Neck and leg break, toi toi, merde!

33. This set is simple and stark
The flats and the stage are gray, even the tree. The bench is more like a gray rock.

The lighting changes from white to blue depending on the scene.

Thanks for the well wishes too! :hi:
