Saw one of those yellow "pray for our troops" on a gas cap in Austin

on Thursday ( a very small insignia) and was so struck by the irony of it that I wondered if it was a repuke or one of us. (Considering where I was, I am almost positive it was a RWer.) Does anyone else see the bone deep irony in this?

2. Hi, hon, I was at a right wing church meeting my daughter (with the

Texas Dem.) sticker on her car. We were both astonished at this bit of poetic truth on a gas cap.

4. Driving in from Houston and talking to one of the daughters in Austin

and remarking on the lightening I can see in the west and she is coming home from church and can see nothing. I get into some heavy rain before I get home and then get a call from her and I can HEAR the hail hitting the windows at her house. The storm was gone from here but she was calling to see if I got home okay. How about you?

BTW, where exactly were you are the protest last weekend? I was there with my gson. I hate to say it, but he was fascinated with the bushsnake(I had to id it for him and that is the name I gave it) and asked for one for Christmas.

7. We didn't march, but just went to city hall.

We were on the left side of the seating area about 2 or 3 rows up. The snake was nice. Lots of good signage, too. I like Jensen's speech.

I like the setup at city hall. That was a very good protest.
