Household tip: best way to get smells out of fridge?
I removed the offending item that stunk to high hell. What is the best way to wash out the fridge to get that disgusting odor out of there? It's making me gag. :puke:

4. Get a new fridge.
Seriously, I think if you crush up charcoal briquets and put them in the fridge it supposedly soaks up odors. Or try baking soda.

9. If the stink isn't from something that was actually staining a surface
Just cut open a box of baking soda and leave it open in there, it'll absorb the odor. May take few days, but it'll work.

After that, put in a new box of baking soda that is just opened normally (push in the tab) and it'll keep odors out pretty well. Just replace it every couple of months.

12. you might want to use baking soda and lemon juice separately
the acid base interaction might minimize effectiveness. So maybe alternating cleaning materials (I'd start with baking soda)
