I WAY lied about my age

I stopped in at my favorite neighborhood Tavern (too late, of course! :P ) and I was looking at the jukebox when the one of the two kinda-young ladies spoke to me. She then asked if I lived on xxx Dr., I said no, I live down yyy Rd. She said that I looked just like the son of one of their neighbors, who is in his late 20s. I said thanks and that I was going to be 32 in next month. Her friend said that they had 13 years on me. I said that we look mahr-velous for our ages. :yourock:

I actually turn 42 next week. :thumbsup:

and put some money in the jukebox. The evening was very tame. They were going home to their husbands shortly. I guess that it was girls' night out. Sounds like they could use a break. :thumbsup:

5. Actually, it was their songs

the manager kicked their songs to the top. One was a Fleetwood Mac hit, Go Your Own Way, and a disco hit. I don't remember right now because I was thinking of going home and firing up my stereo. :think:

It was too late in the night for any of my songs to play.

2. It would never occur to me to say I'm less than 42.

Of course, I'm not trying to pick anyone up... so... Good for you that they believed you were 10 years younger!
