Have you ever discovered a "foreign object" in your food?
If so, what did you find? How did you deal with it?

We wanna' know!

For me, I've found hair in pastries and once I almost swallowed a finger nail that was in a jar of applesauce.

What about you?

:bounce:

:D

5. Well, something "strange" in those fries?
Like something "foreign" other than cooked potatoes?

It is an awful feeling biting down on glass.

4. A caterpillar (or some similar multi-legged bug)
Little green guy curled up on a lettuce leaf... Actually it was in my brother-in-law's salad and I noticed it on his plate across the table from me before he ate it. He just went and quietly informed the restaurant staff. We've been back there since, though, 'cause we really like the place!

6. A roach in Mandarin Pork from a Cincinnati take-out.
Unfortunately, I was about halfway through the meal when I found it. It blended in with the peppers. We called the "restaurant", and they told me I could come back and get a replacement meal. Um..... no, thanks!

8. Tiny crawling bugs at the bottom of a bag of peanut M&Ms.
I thought they were peanut or candy chips until I saw them moving.

9. Band aid and a bolt
two different meals, got free dinners both times.

I'm a pretty mild mannered dude, probably should have pitched a bigger fit over the band aid, but I've worked a lot of food service and you really don't want to know what happens in most kitchens. :puke:
