How do y'all put pictures in your posts?.... remember I have a Mac

1. Doesn't matter what platform. (edit)

The image has to be hosted on the internet somewhere. The direct link pasted into the message box.

If the image is not already on the 'net, there's lots of free image hosting out there.

On edit: If you find an image you want to post, just control click on it and select "Open Image in New Window" on your Mac. Then copy the link to it and paste it here.

2. bring up a second Safari or Firefox window

Find your picture, and drag it to your message post on the first window. Preview your post because some pics have forbidden codes or "hosted by Tripod" images instead. No cut and pasting needed.

4. If the pic is on the net, open in a new window

Then select copy image address, copy and paste into post.

Otherwise, set up a free account at your ISP or some site like Photobucket and use that to copy the image address, copy and past into post.

5. simple

1. Click on the image that you want to use (photo or graphic)

2. While still clicked on. hold down your "control" key
(far bottom left of keyboard)

3. Go to "view image"
(this action will open a new window

4. Copy this url link

5. paste where you want image to appear

7. That's not necessary for Mac users

All he/she needs is to click and drag the pic to the browser, and the green "+" shows up.
