Seen them
My gf and I seen 2 instances of UFOs in the past several months. I always had odd experiences that would be considered paranormal but the last UFO sighting got me thinking: if I seem to encounter them often, could we get them to make a visit to certain people? A nice wake up call for Falwell, Dobson, et al that love to judge us all for being godless liberals.

1. I'm almost at the point...
... that if I encounter one, I'm gonna be sayin', "get me th' fuck outta here for a while--at least until this idiocy calms down for a bit."

To hell with Falwell getting the ride of a lifetime. Wouldn't change him a bit. He'd probably look forward to an anal probe or two....

:)

3. LOL
I know what you mean. I'm not sure about aliens myself, but I have had some weird experiences with spiritual matters. But if they are out there maybe they can find Bush's brain????

14. Uh, I was speaking of...
... Bush's brain, not UFOs. :P

I think if anyone actually found Bush's brain, he'd be mighty pleased. Might even want to show it off.... :P

Didn't alcohol and cocaine destroy it?

4. UFO says it all
Unidentified flying object.

Whether an alien craft (love to have them visit people) or an unknown natural event. Or something else like experimental plane or misperception.

At any rate, both were bright. One was a circular and red, the other was orange and triangular. Haven't seen stuff like that since MI but I don't miss the "alien abduction" encounter (basicly they shown me around and leave me TV on).

7. You saw them in Michigan?
Was it the UP? That's a hot-spot.

6. I saw an incredible UFO in 1982 that I've described here before
Edited on Wed Mar-23-05 01:49 AM by Syrinx
It was only a couple hundred feet in the air. Had three different-colored lights on the bottom. Hovered for a while then moved away at an incredible speed.

I have no idea if it was a spaceship from another planet, a secret government project, or what. But it was damn cool!

And I'm not making this up... I have a card my then-girlfriend sent me shortly thereafter (we saw it together), where she references the experience.

8. Falwell, founder & chancellor of Liberty University
will never get his wake up call. He (and the team) thought it was "god" that led the girls basketball team to an upset over DePaul U. last night. Little does he know that it was the lights from above.

(Please don't take this the wrong way - I believe there's other life out there-I just wish it could be proven, but that's another thread!)

Trust no one, Mr. Mulder!

11. It's rove in his black helicopters coming for you.
:) just kidding. I have seen a couple of UFOs in my lifetime. I won't swear that they were actually aliens but, they weren't our standard issue aircraft either.

12. Rove?
Mine never make noise at all and lately appear at night when I visit my gf. Usually weekends since aliens have to work during the week. If they land, I'll ask them for a job. And a niffty ray gun.

Apparently they have rules about giving weapons to us inferior humans. :)

16. Mmmmmm
They shown me their coffee makers, tour the ship, and even (my fav part) that I'll be responsible for the discovery of time travel which allows them (evolved from us) to travel in time for anthropological research.

I have math learning disorder. If I can balance my checkbook, it's a sign god exists. Maybe they got me mixed up with someone else.

Anyone watch The Greatest American Hero? Ask if we could borrow enough suits for 49% of last years voters.

18. Funny,
I saw something strange tonight. It was about 8:00. I was looking... I think west. It was about half-way between zenith and the horizon. I don't know how near or far it was. The sky had a haze. The moon was visible, but not the stars. It was orange, circular, and didn't move. It disappeared while I watched; I think it may have gotten brighter before it disappeared... I don't know what it was. Unidentified for sure.

Funny, to come across a UFO thread tonight :)
