1. Marlins
I would have liked to see Atlanta win, but I'm going with my hometown team now.

12. becoming?
Yankee fans and the the Yanks have been hated for a long time. It comes with the territoy of being the most successful team in major professional sports history.

15. That's true...
I just didn't really notice too much until a couple of years ago because I lived in NY that time...they only people I ever saw in htat time who hated the Yanks only did so because they rooted for the Mets.

11. Most of us aren't blaming him.
The Cubs have noone to blame in their collapse last night but themselves. It's those people who haven't seen the game, but have only seen the non-stop replays of the fan incident that are being led to beleive by the media that he "blew the game" for the Cubs. It's utter nonsense and irresponsible journalism to create a scapegoat in such a way. This poor guy is being Richard Jewell'ed.

13. I said many
I went a few Cubs message boards and the posts about the kid are pretty bad. I think most of them know where the blame goes, but Kerry is on the mound for game 7 and I like their chances.

Have no preference between the RedSox and Cubs, but let's leave the George Steinbrenner Corporation out of it.

8. Atlanta's only won once recently and that was back in 1995
The Marlins have won just as often as Atlanta recently.

7. Red Flops.
Never gonna happen - the Bambino's gonna knock them all bodily out of the park.

The curse was only amplified when they smacked down 72-year-old Don Zimmer.

I've rooted for those losers tongue-in-cheek ever since I was old enough to wear a baseball cap to school. In grade school anyone with a Yankees cap was taunted without mercy.

19. old fat men who don't know their place
and charge out of the dugout like enraged rhinos to attack people deserved to be smacked down. An old dick or a young dick, they're all the same, and Zimmer didn't get half of what he deserved, regardless of age.

9. The Mariners didn't make it this year so....

I voted "who cares?". Honestly, and this from a true Washingtonian and Seattlite, Seattle teams have an extensive history of losing when it really counted. The only two sports teams I can think of from Seattle that won any championship are the Seattle Metropolitans hockey team who won the Stanley Cup in 1917 and the Seattle Supersonics in 1979 who won the NBA Championship. The Metros have long since folded though. But seriously, Seattle hardly ever wins championships so call me defeatist but hell the truth hurts!

20. And here the are The Metropolitans!
The only NHL team Seattle ever had and probably will never have again.

And it was 1917 actually not 1919!
