of grocery stores up there in NH. There are many items with that brand name, not just potato chips.

3. Tri-Sum potato chips
out of Leominster, MA.

I think they are the only chip on the market that are still cooked in beef fat. (Yes, they are greasy. Yes, they are salty. Isn't that the point?)

Edited on Tue Mar-22-05 12:27 PM by Goathead

I never ate them, but you can't write comedy like that. The best was when they broke the story about the the potato chips giving everyone gastrointestinal problems and you still saw people eating them.

38. Just tried the new Trader Joe's chips
They are really very, very good. It reminds me of a mix of Wise potato chips and Tim's Cascade. They have a fairly high grease index though which depending on your personal taste is either a good thing or a bad thing.

Chips are a real addiction problem for me so I rarely buy them but I did pick this bag up yesterday and was pleasantly surprised.

39. THE WINNER !
Wachusetts Potato Chips. Made in Fitchburg, MA.

These are the best chips I've ever tasted. The perfect combination of crispiness, saltiness and grease. They don't carry them at my local grocery, so I drive well out of my way to buy them at a store that DOES carry them.

BTW, they are mentioned on www.taquitos.net as running in the top 10.
