is there such a service as FURNITURE CLEANING?
I'm in desperate need of having my cloth-covered couch thoroughly cleaned to eradicate feline urine. :barf: We have one cat who just won't leave it alone no matter what we do. We can't get the smell out to the point where he'll quit pissing on it.

Is there such a thing as a company that will come get our couch and clean it up?

2. Yes
Anyone who does carpet cleaning will do upholstery cleaning. You may need to let them know that there's a problem w/ cat urine, so that they can use the proper enzymes to combat the smell and keep the cat away from it.

3. Servpro cleans up water and smoke damage.
Steam cleaning might work but could make things stinkier.

You may need to recover the couch after replacing the foam cushions. Consider a leather like or coated fabric to repel cat pee.

The local technical college in my city has a continuing ed class for reupholstering. My couch needs to be redone. I'm thinking of taking the class and using the couch as my project. My grand mom reupholstered all of her own furniture.

4. In my experience it won't work...
you have to douse every bit of pee to neutralize it--and if you soak the couch it'll mildew before it dries, probably...

Save your cleaning $$$ and start garage-sailing for a new one.
Cover the new couch with tin foil for a few days so Drippy stays off it permanently.
