Ask me anything -- I want to get to 400 posts by tomorrow!
Portland, Oregon?

Weather? Traffic?

Sex after sixty-five?

How I used to date Larry King and then took over his show when he was arrested four days before Christmas and became the first woman talk show host with a daily, full-time show in Boston?

Been married three times? (But not to Larry...)

Love cool weather and wish summer wasn't so hot!

Ten grandchildren, but five of them are denied access to us due to my stepdaughters' decision that their children should have nothing to do with us?

Enough bait?

6. I met Larry in the 1950's and had one date with him...
I actually was a former TV children's show "star" in Dade County, Florida, and he was working as a DJ for a Miami radio station. I think I was 18 years old and he must have been about 23. He was a guy with lots of talent and a great sense of humor. On the date, he took me to a Miami spot we lovingly called "Pecker's Point", and he promptly developed "Roman hands and Russian fingers". I was pissed off and I told him to take me home.

Many years later, after working in Miami and New York in radio and TV production, I was divorced with two kids, and pretty lonely. I stopped by the radio station where he was working one night and brought him coffee and Mallomars (candy/cookies). I started screening his calls during some of his 11 PM to 5 AM shows. He was arrested four days before Christmas and I took over his show while they searched for another male host. My option got picked up by a CBS-owned Boston radio station and I got a big break with a full-time talk show six days a week.

Larry has since straightened out his life and I'm glad to see him doing well. Other posts about him from tonight at DISCUSSION FORUM>

7. Haven't got a clue... I know it's happened here, but not by me.
Used to be George Carlin's "words that will get you in trouble with the law" but wouldn't know how to do it.

Don't lock this up unless you must.

12. May I pm it to you?
I believe that, with this hyphenated word, you could win any argument about how to lock up a thread.

18. No prob.
Believe me, someday you will lock a thread. I am pretty much an expert at it by now. There are certain words that can not be said.

24. I work all night. That is the reason for the gaps in responses.
The word has never been used here, but it has been tested on other boards. Will send pm later!

25. What kind of work keeps you up all night?
I had to go to the hospital and get a chest x-ray around 2 AM here. The woman technician said she has worked the night shift for 23 years while raising children, too.

Boy, I have to hand it to you. Just four months of an 11 PM - 5 AM radio program shift, with two little kids, almost broke me financially (babysitting all day and all night long!) and took my health.
