She's definitely not an actor. An actor is someone who plays different roles; Ms. Barrymore plays Ms. Barrymore in every single film she's in. Every sentence out of her craw in phrased in the form of a question, and the answer is always "duh."

If she were not in "Donnie Darko," the film would be more than merely excellent.
