it happened to me this weekend. I was so embarrased by it. I am together with my now boyfriend almost a year and it never happened so far. My bf wasn't too happy about it of course but didn't get too upset.

Or yours for being so promiscuous about the names of your boyfriends.

8. how did he react?
my mom called her bf by the name of my dad more than once. He is used to it by now.

And why are such things happening?

28. He was so cool about it
tried to pretend that it didn't happen. At that time he hadn't met the ex whose name I used.

Later, after he did, he confessed that he was hurt at the time but now understood why I would always have a soft spot for that one.

And when that ex died, my current actually said "I'm so sorry" when I told him.

7. not in the beginning
but as time passed ... I can remember - more than once - calling a bf by the wrong name.

I've since solved my problem remembering names ~ everybody is sweetie ~ although some are *Sweetie!!!* ;)

11. I slept 10 hours last night.
I seem to be tired all of the time and I'm pissed off about it! I took my blood pressure several times over the weekend and drank only decaf instead of regular coffee because my blood pressure is too high.

:hi: Calling the bf "sexy" doesn't work when you're out to dinner with the fam. Try * Dear* or *honey* instead.

13. I call him that too
at least "dear". Honey not so often. And he IS sexy, everybody can see it :) Or "sweetie". And my mom is cool with me calling him "sexy". But I might have to call him differently when I meet his family (whenever that will be)

I don't drink coffee at all. Prefer tea.

36. IT isn't ready yet!!!
and perhaps that's part of my high blood pressure problem.
:grr:It was supposed to go back to the shop where I purchased it today. It has 16,500 miles on it. I want the pre-season service job done early. I put more miles on my Trike after getting it last August than my friend put on her Harley in the past year and a half. Next week the daytime high temperatures will be in the 50's. I'm threating to bubble wrap it and ride anyway.

38. me too
She ran into a problem getting the quills on the feathers to look right so that's the delay. The feathers are perfect and I think we've figured out the quill problem but it still needs to be finished, clear-coated and buffed out before it's ready for me to go riding down the road. So, I'm waiting:shrug:
I like going for long peaceful rides alone on the trike. It's like when I used to go sailing alone but going for a long drive in the car doesn't have the same effect.

She is off from work for the next few days and she is just as upset as I am that it's not already done.

We are taking her Sportster over to Harley tomorrow and picking up her new V-Rod very soon. She had wanted to take her first V-Rod ride with my Goldwing near by.... something about "Screaming Eagle Pipes chasing Bumble Bees".

However, about a year or so ago I managed to often shout the name out of a man I was interested in my sleep to the dude who was still very much my husband. Only my unconscious mind is dangerous. The rest of the time I am entirely too logical and sensible about this stuff.

58. I had a boyfriend once who called me "Lisa" in the middle of "things"
and once my husband was sleeping and kept talking in his sleep to someone named "Sheila." He kept saying "Shhhh, trust me!" and then giggling and saying "Sheila."

He was SMILING, too. Must have been a nice dream. We had only been married about a month, so I kicked him hard.

Nowdays, I would just watch him and laugh and make fun of him the next day.
