Pizza hut- The worst pizza I have ever had.

I bought a large super supreme last night, got it home and was only able to choke down two slices. It was over cooked and extra salty tasting. I didn't complain because I live 15 miles outside of town and didn't want to drive back and get a replacement. I guess it was fit for a dog (the dogs chowed down pretty good last night), but not for me. Never ever going back to Pizza hut. I should have known better.

In the past when I've had PH, it's close to raw - which is also disgusting. Either way, fast food/chain pizza is a crapshoot (pun intended).

It's disgusting. I make my own 95% of the time.. My crust only has about 2 tbsp of vegetable oil, and it actually tastes like real bread.

2. I can only eat the top of their pizza. Their crust is like cardboard.

Haven't been able to eat there in decades. Spent too much time up north where they serve real pizza and not this cardboard crap they sell.

7. I miss Rochester, N.Y.

I grew up near there and there were tons of independent parlors. The best was T.K.'s in downtown Fairport. That place is the gold standard to which all other pizza's are compared to. (for me)

6. Pizza Hut owes me

a free pizza. The last two times they gave me the wrong pizza toppings, they said next time I order I would get it free. I only like their finger pizza although don't understand why they give garlic butter as a dip.

12. I try to avoid chain store pizzas now

Pizza Hut is one of the worst. But Little Caesar's comes close and has made me quite ill (some kind of heavy processed oils they use in the crust, I think).

Now I try whenever possible to buy pizzas from small single-owner establishments. I think they make their ingredients with a bit more care. They also tend to use a bit more Italian spices in their sauces. I've had spaghetti or lasagna from the chain stores and it barely tastes Italian.
