There is a house in my neighborhood
that still has red and green Christmas lights on. My kids think the people who live there are in a cult or something. My husband thinks they must have a family member in Iraq. I think they are confused.

Any ideas?

1. I thought you said you had a horse in your neighborhood, to which
my response would be "COOL".

But, as far as the XMAS lights... I know folks who leave 'em up year round so no biggie. :)

2. But that isn't done in this neighborhood
I have lived here most of my life and we have never had any perennial Christmas decoration neighbors.

It really is odd.

10. That would be pretty cool
I would love to see horses in the city again, and less cars.

4. Ask them what's up.
Neighbors should try to know one another if possible. Makes things more pleasant all around.
You never know, someone could be seriously ill and unable to take them down.

11. Very true
that is why I like my neighborhood. In my apartment building, we all know each other, and do favors for each other. It is great to know you have neighbors watching out for you

7. Hey, things came up, I got busy...
...it's been really hectic around here. If I have time next weekend, I'll get around to it then.

Or not.
