Well...

There's Victoria Barkley: the Matriarch.Independent.Butch.Very wise.

There's Jarrod Barkley: The oldest son. Lawyer. Over-achiever.
There's Nick Barkley: Tough-guy. Leather man. Hot head.
Threre's Heath Barkley: The sensitive bastard son. Quiet. Brooding.

And then there's Audra Barkley: Dim-witted ditz. Overdoes the blue eyeshadow.

3. Something I notice about the program when I watch it in reruns
is that members of the Barkley family are frequently taken prisoner and tied up by the bad guys. Very S/M. Makes you wonder what the show's writers had in mind.
