Why do I torture myself?
I can't believe people actually buy that bullshit

I was watching the 700 club, and according to Pat, if Teri Schiavo dies, no one will be allowed to use a feeding tube again. No one! Also with two months of therapy, Teri can be walking and talking according to this hack doctor that they interviewed.:eyes:

Have you noticed the same people who want Teri kept alive by artificial means are the same ones who supported War in Iraq and the Death penalty?

My god. I need a drink.

1. Back to your original thought: Why *do* you torture yourself?
Why would you EVER watch that dreck?

2. I don't fucking get it, either
So, if a couple months of therapy is all she needs, then why the 15 years in a coma?

Pat Robertson is an evil, lying fuckin' piece of shit. And so are all the rightwing fuckwads. They'll keep a fetus alive, they'll keep a comatose vegetable with irreperable brain damage alive.

But they'll let children starve to death and/or shower them with bombs of liberation, all while smiling to Jesus.

Fuck them.

I'm gettin' really, really fucking tired of 'em.

3. Benny Hinn should lay hands on her. That works, right?
Why hasn't he done so?

4. What I don't understand is
There are a lot of people who are on life support, with family members arguing over what to do. Why is this one woman so important that her case is national news???? Why is the government intervening???

7. My guess is
that she's in Florida, where GUESS WHO is Governor, and, therefore, easily told what to do.

8. Yeah, I get that
At first, that made sense. Now, the whole country is enthralled with this. It's gotta be a distraction...what are we missing??

10. That thing in Iraq?
The fact that China and Japan and the UK own so much of our debt, we're forever screwed?

That our economy is in the crapper?

That gas prices are soaring?

That all prices are soaring?

That our infrastructure is collapsing?

That kids go hungry?

That old people go hungry?

That medical insurance is not for everyone?

That the Afghanistan populace how wishes for the Taliban to return because the warlords who were put back in power by the USA are so much worse than the Taliban ever was?

Did I mention that thing in Iraq?

12. We see those things
There has to be something that we aren't seeing. Just my guess.

13. Interesting.............
You think there's some huge scandal waiting to erupt?

Wouldn't that be grand?

Any guesses?

14. I think there are multiple scandals
That the MSM won't talk about, and that the repukes are sitting on.

Tom DeLay is likely to be up shit creek without a paddle pretty soon...but I don't think that's it, because his own people are jumping ship.

Iraq is a mess, no doubt...then there's Iran, Syria, North Korea, and anybody else that Condasleeza Bites and friends are making funny faces at, trying to pick a fight. Obviously, if we get into another country, the draft will be back. Not the back door draft that they're running now, but a big out in the open one. I'm sure they'd like us not to be looking when they put that into place.

I could go on and on and on.

5. Hopefully, Pat Robertson will one day have his chance
To savor the joys of a permanent vegetative state.

I was fixing a computer in the boss' office today and had to listen to Hannity make some twisted leaps of logic on this whole thing and I just had to hope that if he's ever declared brain-dead (not much of a stretch), all his friends would fight like hell to keep him that way.

9. What I like about this
is that we're inspired to newer and greater heights of creativity in terms of wish ill on these righteous ratfaces who presume to know what's to be done with a woman they will never even know.

However, I think so many of these rightwingnuts, i.e., Hannity, are already braindead.

Remember the play, "Whose Life Is It, Anyway?"? Quadraplegia.

11. I try not to wish ill
In this case, I only wish on them what they wish on others. If that is ill, it's their problem. :)
