I'm gonna be on the Today Show tomorrow!

I was asked by someone I know if I wanted to be interviewed by Lester Holt tomorrow on the Today Show about baseball and steroids, etc. Well naturally I said yes! Talked to a guy from NBC on the phone, and he asked me a bunch of questions - what I thought about the whole thing, am I angry about it, am I a big baseball fan, etc. I said that I was pissed off about them taking steroids, but that Congress has bigger things to worry about right now.

I have to be there at 6:15am, but I don't know what time I will actually be on. When I go on, I'll probably say something like, "Doesn't Congress have a couple of WARS to worry about right now?"

Damn, I can't believe it!

5. Piece of advice...

don't sound angry... sound serious and concerned... throw in something about wasting tax dollars by wasting all that committee time on an issue that doesn't seem to be as pressing as... (then throw out the political critique)... it will grab more folks attention and maybe get a few of those who tend not to think about it much - to think!
