I do not like people who have conversations in public places
I hate it when people on the subway, the bus, the street, a restaurant or anywhere else in a public place have a conversation. Guess what, assholes? I DON'T CARE. nothing you are saying is so important that you can't wait to get home to have that talk.

I hear people on the metro asking the person next to them, "hey, where should we go to dinner?"

or when you hear someone in the Supermarket ask, "honey, is this cantelope ripe enough?"

damn, people. save your talking for when you're at home already. THE REST OF US DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR DINNNER, or how junior's soccer game was.

Keep quiet until you get home.

15. Would it make you feel better
if I pointed out how you spelled "cantaloupe"? 'Cause I just want to be loved -- is that so very wrong!?!

3. i would say
that's there's a difference between a regular conversation and a cell phone conversation

with the cell phone (and i am guilty of this too), you lose touch with your surroundings. you say things you normally wouldn't, you usually talk louder, and you're less receptive to what's going on around in. it takes you out of the moment.

in a normal conversation, with someone sitting right next to you, you stay in the moment and you stay aware of what's going on around you.

i have a cell phone and i almost never talk on it in public places because i think it's stupid. what did people do before we had cell phones? the conversation can almost always wait. nothing is worse than someone talking on their phone on the bus...

14. Definitely true. Especially the talking louder part.
I love the skit on that show... can't remember the name of it... where the guy carries around this giant cell phone, screaming into it at the top of his lungs. :D

8. Me too
One day I heard a girl on her cell phone on the bus talking about how she may be pregnant because she missed taking her BCPs. She looked about 16. I glanced meaningfully at her as though to say, "You should keep that sort of stuff to yourself!"

I especially hate people who talk (or scream) at the top of their lungs.

10. You should
move to somewhere where the people are more reserved , or where they speak a foreign language (so at least you don't know what the're talking about).
