"Carnivale" discussion thread.
Lets have some predictions here. Is Sophie Brother Justin's child by rape? Did Scudder really get beheaded, or was it just an illusion?

The real question is the bearded lady a good guy or a bad guy.

11. It is really essential one starts
from the beginning, Season one. This series is multi-layered and builds each week. I bought the DVD and have shared it with friends to catch them up. I actually learn something new each time I watch any episode!

15. I'm not a fan of Deadwood, either
HBO has produced some great original programming, so we watched both Deadwood and Carnivale. My partner is really into Deadwood, but I don't care for it, though I must admit they have done a good job at de-romanticizing the old west. But Carnivale is just pretentious junk.

12. I agree it is a show for
folks who like mystery and thinking. Not everyone enjoys being intrigued for months on end.

3. Yes
Yes, Sophie is Justin's child. Yes Scudder really got beheaded, it was not an illusion.

I'm looking for Sophie to become an Aimee Semple McPherson type before she realizes what Justin is all about.

6. Are there only two more episodes left this season, or is the show over
I do think Sophie is Justin's child. I also think Scudder was really beheaded.

As far as Lila and Lodz goes, I've missed Lodz' character this season. I like the actor who plays him, and I like Lila even if she is evil. I did think that Lila's comment to Ruthie, when she came around in Lila's bed was hilarious. "What am I doing here"

"You were doing just fine, honey".

Left a loaded comment that she will see him soon in the flesh.

8. We have a weekly thread here
in the TV Forum.

Also. Daniel Knauf talks/posts regularly at the yahoo HBO Carnivale Group. I have shared a few of his posts from yesterday.

The big, big thing to do if you love Carnivale is to write the HBO Board. I want season 3. Daniel said he has enough for 6 seasons right now!
