I printed off 50 formal shower invitations with a typo

A SHOWERING??!?!?!?!?!

Dear God. Good thing the people being honored think it's funny and don't care. I offered to buy and print new ones and they said no way.

I feel so bad.

My office is 52 degrees. I have an electric blanket wrapped around me and I can hardly feel my hands. The air conditioning is blowing nonstop. By May, the heat will be blowing nonstop.

After I get some things done, I'm going home to work from that computer. This is ridiculous.

A quarter tank of gas has to last me two more days. I'm not going to make it. Gas is killing me now.

But hey I'm still living, breathing and walking around, right?

When a cousin of mine graduated from the Naval Academy a few years back their diplomas all had a typo - it said Navel Academy. They had to turn them in a week or so later and get ones with the word spelled properly. Too bad - an original of one would probably be worth some money in a couple of years.

I sent them to the printer, got them, AND mailed them out without noticing that I'd forgotten to use the proper title for my future ex-FIL... he's a doctor, and I called him Mr.
