Amazing Race Watchers: Who do you want to see get kicked off next
Edited on Wed Mar-16-05 09:25 AM by Mike Daniels
So far, with the exception of the first show I have felt great satisfaction in seeing the respective teams get eliminated.

The next "would most like to see be eliminated" team are the boyfriends just exclusively for their ugly American behavior in the second episode at the market when they accused the shop owner of running a crooked scale. Also, their irrational dislike for Rob and Amber for playing the game as a race is another reason this annoying couple need to have karma give them a farewell boot in the ass.

I can think of other reasons Rob and Amber should be disliked but doing things that give them a time advantage or capitalize on vendor greed (bribes) isn't one of them.

Any other choices for the Johnathan/Victoria "would you please just get eliminated already" position for week 4?

1. I love the gay couple! Rob and Amber are not good reps of the U.S. as
they are so willing to lie cheat and steal to win. Besides, rob and amber are already millionaires and already won another game show. i think they are just plain greedy to be going for more money.

i also like the guy and his mom team. they seem sweet. they'd be my second fav. :)

2. I blame the producers more than Rob and Amber for R/A being on the show
Rob and Amber could be ego-maniacs who want to remain in the spotlight but I doubt the producers couldn't have found another set of contestants in the stack of applications.

3. Rob & Amber.
That man just annoys me to no end. Also not fond of the former-POW and the beauty queen.

4. Actually, I don't think the former POW is so bad.
The beauty queen who on more than one occasion referred to themselves as the "all-American couple" really bothers me. She just comes off as though she thinks that a military guy and a beauty queen are an ideal "all-American" pairing. Shudder.

5. I like the POW
He's pretty low key about his experience and if he refers to it in his commentary it's usually related to what's taking place in the show.

His team mate however is another classic example of the air-head beauty queen who can't see outside her immediate universe. Fortunately, the producers seem to be keeping her in the background when they show footage of that team.

6. Rob and Amber
They aren't playing the game...they are merely finding ways to get around the rules. I think of all the teams in the past who worked their way through a lot of nasty stuff. Rob and Amber just find a loophole to get out of doing tasks. As a viewer, I don't appreciate
that.

7. Also...
did the winning team win a prize? I don't remember that they did. I thought the weekly winners ALWAYS win a trip or something.

8. Actually, they didn't get around the rules, they used the rules

to their advantage, rather, Rob did (I think Amber is just a tag-along and pretty useless actually). For example, last night he simply asked what the rule was about the penalty for not eating the meat and made a calculated, very smart decision. He's very good at assessing a situation and figuring out a way to take advantage of it. I HATE the cocky asshole myself, but I will admit he's a good problem solver. That IS playing the game if you ask me. A lot of times in sports a team will purposely take a penalty to use it to their advantage; think of purposely walking a batter in baseball or taking too much time in football to gain a more advantageous field position. I'm pretty sure Rob is a sports nut, and thus he's well aware of these strategies.

And apparently bribes aren't against the rules so he's not getting around anything there. I really hate the guy and I sincerely hope his cocky ass gets ejected but he plays the game very well IMO.
