Vanity License Plate ("TIPSY") Owner Gets Busted For DUI
<snip>

MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Having a vanity plate the reads "TIPSY" may not be such a good idea after all.

Josiah Johnson, of Argusville, N.D., is in trouble for drunken driving. He figures his TIPSY plate might have tipped off the deputy who busted him.

Police say Johnson had a blood-alcohol level twice the legal limit after he left a sports bar in Moorhead.

Johnson said the TIPSY plate was meant to describe the way an old Jeep rode, and he kept the plate when he got a Chevy Silverado. Johnson said he has learned his lesson and will never drink and drive again.

1. Reminds me of a guy I went to high school with back in the 80s
who had a vanity plate that said "arrived stoned".

5. my nephew just got a DWI after
he and his girlfriend broke up he was devasted and went out and tried to drink his sorrows away. He tried driving home and was busted. I'm just glad he's around to talk about it. He feels like a loser since he had to spend the night in the pokey. :( I told him don't since some of the best people in the family have been there at his age;)
