1. Jesus and Mary Chain
No contest.

I even saw them play a gig for an hour once. I also went to the Uni that they caused a riot at as they did their trademark 15 mins and buggered off!

4. Amen
They were fantastic - I got a 73 min show out of 'em in Austin years back. Nine Inch Nails opened for them. Whole lot of gloom and despair in that room!

2. You're kidding, right?
J&M Chain no contest. So many bands nowadays are aping their style.

Right Here, RIght Now was a decent song before it was a commercial, but it's still no contest.

Psychocandy is a classic. I still remember when that came out, being a teenager and listening to a college radio station while doing homework and when Taste the Floor was played it was the darkest, heaviest thing I had ever heard.

7. Yeah, Jesus Jones had a deep bag of tricks....
...sarcasm off.

Jesus Jones wasn't even that bad a band but they were total one hit wonders. At least here in the states. I have a theory that every single store in the country that sells used cds has AT LEAST one copy of that Jesus Jones album as well as EMF's Schubert Dip.

11. Funniest. Thread. Ever.
Almost as laughable as Oasis vs. the Beatles.
