What's with a guy having dark hair but a white mustache?

Actually, I think it's because no one makes a reliable, matching moustache toupee, especially for someone who spits and sputters as much as Bolton does. It would do the same thing that Novak's eyebrows do when he furrows his brow.... :)

Some men have different color hair on the top of their head & on their face. In fact, hair in other body areas can mix & match as well--with interesting combinations, in some cases.

I was aware of brown hair with red beard (and mustache). Known a few.

But going gray on the face only is a new one on me. And I don't think he dyes his head hair. Too various, if you know what I mean. And he could dye the mustache too if he were vain that way.

Maybe he's vain a different way.

My vanity requires total face shaving. But that's just me.

I'm curious as to how he's haired all over. Is he grey in the crotch?

How about his chest and back hair, if he has some?

I think for most men, their hair on the head gets gray first, so it seems as though if he's going to make the choice to dye one part, he should dye them both. Otherwise it looks kind of stupid.

It happens to guys all the time. Look around. The only reason you may not see it much is that a lot of guys will shave the stash or beard when it starts to turn.

...was an 80's fad among the gay community. Bleaching one's mustache white while leaving the head natural was a signal, not unlike the hanky code thing. One guy I knew that did this also wore a button that said, "Mustache Rides - 5 Cents", which I thought was pretty funny. I threw that in so I wouldn't have to explain what the "signal" was.
