A few months ago a gentleman told me that he thinks I'm beautiful. I laughed and thanked him, we both knew that he was referring to the beauty that in within. When I was younger, I was beautiful and I never realized it because I wasn't vain, I rarely looked in a mirror. I saw the beauty of my youth only after left side of my face became severely paralyzed on 12/26, three years ago. It has become almost un-noticeable now except for a crooked smile.
