raise the hairs on its back either; you'll see it on every cardboard, dime store halloween cat come next october if you're paying attention...maybe not

20. That's one dead cat.
Bald eagles can generate up to 1,000 psi in each foot, more than enough to snap kitty's spine like a twig. Add that to the talons and the beak - which could split the cat's skull with one strike - and you've got a complete mismatch. That cat doesn't have anywhere near the weaponry to go up against the eagle. It'd be like pitting George Stephanopolous and a pocketknife vs. a savate master with blades on his boots and a battle axe.

21. If the eagle was airborne, it would be game over.
Cat would not even know what hit her. Even with her on the ground, the cat ends up as dinner. I have hawks in my yard. They don't get in fights, they catch and crush.

(I feel like I'm at a low budget horror flick, yelling to the cat, "Don't open that door!")
