1. I find 'em everyday...but you either settle for 1986...
...or fit yourself into size 1 tweeny looking stuff.

2. I have trouble actually buying anything when I'm clothes shopping
I hate shopping for clothes so damn much. If something doesn't immediately catch my eye within 10 minutes at the first place I go to, I get pissy and then leave. I need a female friend with fashion sense and the ability to put up with bullshit excuses to forcibly drag me along. It's a pain in the ass. All of it. x(

I like clothes, but hate to shop. nothing in the stores is what I want or is way too pricey...or just not my size.

4. The worse
is when that season someone decides everything should be in colors that look horrible on you.
I'm a pale skinned redhead. Last year everything was hot pink, bright yellow, turquoise, bright red and lime green. Yeah, I was ready to spend money, but got so mad after 3 stores all had the same stupid colors that I can't wear.

5. No...
Where are you shopping?

I am thankful that there are no high-waisted, tapered-leg, acid-washed jeans out there on the racks. If THAT fad ever comes back, I'm going into hibernation.

What I remember from 1986 are jeans like described above, bulky hip-length sweaters that had those convertible collars you could wear down or flip up and button, asymmetrical blouses with lots of ruffles, big plastic bangles and big plastic earrings, and jelly shoes. Oh, and the blazers were all that "unconstructed" style, hip length with big patch pockets, and enormous shoulder pads. Pleeeease tell me they aren't making with the shoulder pads again.

8. I want to be able to...
Go shopping in 1997 again, and bring my clothes back to now. Meh. Goodwill has some stuff from then, but not as much as I'd like. As for 80s stuff, I haven't really been clothes shopping in such a long time, I don't really know!

9. I just got back from clothes shopping, my way!
I NEVER shop until the "30 percent off already reduced" signs are out. I got 30% MORE off fall and winter stuff already marked down 75% today...pants, ties, sweat clothes, shirts, jackets, etc. Most of the pants and etc. are light enough to wear in summer, they are just dark colors. (Big deal.)

I bought two pairs of swanky $90 each men's dress pants, paid $15 each for them. Man you can't buy Levi's for no $15!!! Bought two $40 men's extra long ties, $8.50 each.

They had $250 leather coats there, the final reduction made them $60. I didn't need a coat, but whatta price. Made me stop and look!
