I listened to "ABBA: The Definitive Collection" today at work. I absolutely LOVE their work!!! I have seen Mama Mia three times and will continue to see it whenever I can. You caught me... A TRUE ABBA FAN!

4. AWESOME disc set! Excellent transfers, their best songs...

Now I need to get the video DVD of the same name. "The Definitive Collection".

Probably not as cool as Jefferson Airplane's DVD, but cool nonetheless!

5. Dancing Queen....

Has been my personal anthem since I turned 17 in 1995!! I have always been into the classics, I was listening to The Beatles in 5th grade (1988)!! I have always hated the "X generation" music... blah... ABBA anytime!!

6. 'Gimme Gimme Gimme' or 'The Visitors (crackin' up)' would be

my two personal anthems, depending on my mood. :7

And I too hate the gen x (and especially most everything since) rubbish. Devoid of talent or style, it's music by numbers. Just like painting by numbers. It all sounds the same, looks the same. Devolution.

Sad that we have to live in past eras, but that's what $ociety gets for shoving manufactured garbage onto us, claiming it to be music. I will stay in the infinitely more creative world of the 1960s and 1970s... oh, and techno. It's not mainstream, so it's bound to be good. (only the really action-beat stuff... only when I like 'instrumentals', I prefer songs with content in them... :D )

7. Finally....

Someone who understand that just because I was raised in the 80's & 90's doesn't mean I hafta listen to that music. Some 80's stuff is great but pretty much anything 90's and afterward is... yuch!! Stick with me and we'll convice the other gen Xer's the wrongdoings of their music upbringings.
