Is it normal for high school boys to have thick sideburns?
When I was in high school, they could barely grow hair over their top lip.

3. This is a serious question.
I have a picture of someone that is a sophomore (or junior) in high school and has the thickest side burns I have ever seen. I think they may have been glued on.:-)

during two-a-day football practice we had a guy that was the same age as the rest of us but had a beard like a mature adult. While dressing for practice several guys noticed that he was extremely hairy for a 14 yr. old. One of them said to him, "Is your dad hairy?" and in all seriousness he replied, "No. His name's Ron just like mine." I almost fell down laughing.

4. LOL! If your story is true, that is funny.
This is the pic I was talking about. Pretty thick, imo, for a kid.

But, ol' Ron was the exception to the rule. I've never seen anyone as hairy as that guy was. My friends and I had a hard time getting much of a mustache and a beard was pretty much out of the question.

Guckert looks kinda hairy but if I remember correctly, sideburns grew a little better than the rest of the facial hair.

6. Yes. In fact, it's relatively common.
When I was in the eighth grade (1998 or thereabouts), there was a thirteen-year-old in my class who was six feet tall with a full beard and moustache.

7. Jesus, I'm 22 and I still haven't grown all my facial hair out yet...
I must be a rare case.
