2. Mother Natures Son
Born a poor young country boy--mother nature's son
All day long i'm sitting singing songs for everyone.

Sit beside a mountain stream--see her waters rise
Listen to the pretty sound of music as she flies.

Find me in my field of grass--mother nature's son
Swaying daises sing a lazy song beneath the sun.

Mother nature's son.

8. This reminds me of the weather back in Maine.
Edited on Tue Mar-15-05 07:43 PM by Zing Zing Zingbah
The weather can change dramatically rather quickly there. I distinctly remember many winters (usually this time of year) when the temperature was in the 70's for a few days, and all the snow melted. It's sort of a fake spring. Then right around my birthday (first week of April), we would get into a wicked cold spell with below zero temperatures, freezing rain and/or snow. That was typical Maine weather. You can't really expect spring until after mid-April there.

9. Come to Texas.
Warm and sunny one hour to Thunderstorm with hail, to ice storm all in the same storm.

10. Nah, don't go to Texas!
You want really fine, Mediterranean-style weather, come to (uh-huh, you got it!) CALIFORNIA! No freezing rain or snow down here by the beautiful Pacific Ocean!

:D

12. Tried California.
THe weather was boring. No change, spring and summer is all you get no winter or fall. And storms, people freaked out cause there were a couple of claps of thunder. I freaked them out more with my pics of baseball and softball size hail, and the three sisters I chased one day.

Three sisters, is a group of tornados there were three of them at one time.

11. I love this saying about Kansas:
"If you don't like the weather here, wait 5 minutes; it'll change." I imagine many states have this saying!
