OJ from concentrate vs. cartons and other consumer gripes.
Edited on Tue Mar-15-05 03:10 PM by UdoKier
I've never understood why people buy the cartons. They cost twice as much and are also made from concentrate! I can understand making fresh squeezed, but why waste money on the carton.

I also don't get why people buy the spaghetti sauce in the bottle, when the Hunt's spaghetti sauce in the big can costs HALF as much.

And why do some people believe that "pro-vitamin B complex" does the THOROUGHLY DEAD cells of your hair any good?

And what is with coupons these days? I try to use them, but half the time they say "Buy 3, get 10 cents off" Hello, the discounts on coupons were bigger 20 years ago when 10 cents was worth 3 times what it is now. I DO NOT want to buy 3, especially when the discount is such a tiny little turd!

Rant over.

6. I buy the "carafes."
-- I can fill up the landfills more quickly w/ plastic

-- I can waste more money

-- I am too lazy to make it from concentrate.

9. I buy Progresso Crushed Tomatoes to make my own spaghetti sauce.
Edited on Tue Mar-15-05 05:29 PM by mcscajun
It's cheaper, it's tastier, and the tomatoes are minimally processed and contain no god-awful additives, gums, etc.

But I will buy Tropicana Orange Juice that is NOT From Concentrate.
