I thought it was great and I am wondering how you think it's going to shake out? I was wondering what the bad guy meant by the President has an appointment that He can't be late for?

Obviously, the terrorists' ultimate plan is to capture or kill the President. I knew Paul was gonna buy it. Sarah is going to come back to haunt CTU.

Frankly, I like the way the plot is flowing this season... feels a lot more like Season One in that regard, where the overall conspiracy is leading to several smaller events. I think dragging out something like the virus or the nuke in the previous two seasons left a lot of dangling plot threads. This season is a lot tighter in the plot. But we haven't had any huge shocking moments yet.

I wonder if they're REAL purpose is to assassinate the president by distracting all law enforcement by creating hell in California.

11. Very interesting

I think that Marwan's crew is going to attack Air Force One. They had the sleeper agent who was in the Air Force uniform, and also showed this same guy going to a real (not sure if the sleeper is real or a plant) USAF pilot's home and forcing him to go. AF1 has been in the air the whole season, and my guess is that they are setting up some angle with it. Having the USAF plane attack it makes it more believable, as they wouldn't let Joe Blow fly a plane near it, but a USAF one could. The other scenario might be that they have some sort of weapon which they will set off/drop with the USAF plane. It also looks like they are bringing Dina back into the picture, while Paul's role looks done.


Kinda off-topic, but I liked how they had the young Arab men explain that this is their country and how they want to fight the terrorists, as they are sick of people thinking that all Muslims are terrorists. That, along with the McClellan-Forster commmando raid, is a nice turn away from the far right.


EDIT: Another wildcard is the return of President Palmer. I've seen it rumored that he is coming back this season, and if so it would have to be pretty soon.
