4. As an artist, I can dig what he did
The art is in the action of applying paint to canvas. His works are BIG in size. When you see them in real life as opposed to a picture in a book or a website, the impact becomes more palpable.

I can understand that alot of people don't get it. It took me a long time to really appreciate his work. I still can't stand Warhol. Rothko doesn't grab me either, it's just housepainting on canvas. Basquiat was basically scribbling.

5. I love his art work.
I've never seen his work in real life, only pictures, and I can only think what it would be like to see it for real. :)
