I made my LAST tuition payment today!!!
Thanks to my patient and hardworking husband for paying my way through law school - I hope I can repay him a tenth of what he's done for me.

3. You are suppose to dump him and pick up a young thing
Edited on Tue Mar-15-05 12:24 AM by happyslug
Didn't you learn ANYTHING in law school, Remember it is YOUR law degree, he has NO MARITAL Right in it. Dump him, NOW before you EARN anything with the law degree. Once you EARN something he gets to claim half, but if you dump him NOW, he gets nothing but the bills...

Just kidding, I just remember all the stories of the women you help put their husbands through Medical School or Law School and once the Husband gets his degree, he dumps her for something younger AND THAT THE COURTS HAVE RULED YOUR DEGREE IS NOT A MARITAL ASSET subject to division as part of a Marital property Settlement.

I wish you well and welcome to the Profession.

5. That's true!
Just learned that in Family Law this semester. I have no intention of dumping him for anyone older or younger - he's the best! He didn't dump me when he finished his residency 8 years ago, thank God!

11. Well, I'm off to Dallas with a banjo on my knee
I hear good things about the job market there, but am not looking very hard until after the bar.

12. Just remember to Pass the Bars
When I Graduated one of the Kennedy kids (I forget which one) had failed the Bar three times. The joke making the rounds was like all Kennedys he had a problem passing any bar.....

Hopefully not only can you Pass the BAR exam you can pass by other Bars...

13. JFK Jr. failed the NY bar at least twice
He vowed to keep taking it even if he hadn't passed it by age 95. Unfortunately, he didn't make it to even half that age (although he did eventually pass).

I am thoroughly capable of bypassing bars - my ONLY "bar review" is the course, not the Thursday night pubbing that's a staple here.
