Figuratively speaking, of course! But I can relate. I'm sure our issues are different, but I am going through a very difficult time with close family members right now. Maybe it's why I'm gravitating to the DU Lounge - Lord knows I need some levity in my life.

We are both music lovers, no? Though I'm not a musician myself (not a decent one, anyway), I propose we take some solace in the fact that most of the greatest music ever recorded has been the product of deep emotion, most often pain and/or passion. In my book, the best of the best falls into the genres of blues, gospel, soul and old skool R&B.
