Who juices?
I just made a Costco trip and brought home several huge bags of carrots and apples. Last week I froze tons of "buy one get one free" strawberries. I juiced the carrots and apples and blended in the frozen strawberries. Hot damn! It's the best drink in the world, and it's so vitamin packed that I actually feel high after drinking it. It's like 10 servings of veggies in one shot!

Any other DU juicers have good recipes?

2. I injected Mark McGwire with steroids personally!
Did I mention I also have my championship ring on sale on eBay for $50K? Not that I need money or anything.

Wait...this isn't ESPN. :P

6. I have, and I should agan!!
It's just kind of time-consuming. But WONDERFUL for your health! Organic is best.

I do a combination of carrots, celery, cucumber to offset some deep dark greens, like kale-- which is bitter but incredibly good for you!

7. Juice is evil
pure sugar

If you want the benefits of fruits and veggies, eat the fruits and veggies. Then at least you get some fiber for your trouble. Otherwise, it's just pure sugar.

11. He's referring to making juice...
Making juice out of whole fruits and vegetables, not storebought juice with added sugar. Using a juicer that accepts whole fruits and vegetables means you keep the nutrients and the fiber.

15. There's no fiber in juice
Whether your juice it yourself or not.

And even natural juice has natural sugar and a LOT of it.

You are better off eating the whole food.

16. With this kind of juicing, you ARE eating the whole food.
Unless you are using a juicer that extracts the peel of the fruit (for example).

As for sugar - any sugar present after juicing was present in the food to begin with.

9. Vita-mix
I used to juice but got tired of cleaning the damn thing. I bought a vita-mix about 3 years ago and absolutely love it! Just throw the entire fruit/veg in and blend. I use anything in the fridge that needs to be eaten soon. You get the benefit of the juice as well as the fiber,it's WAY easier to clean, and also make perfect margaritas. Their expensive but well worth it,they really are much more than a blender.
