By Caroline Knapp... a book for people who are deeply attached to their dogs.

2. I heard that she died of cancer
I read the book when my dog had cancer and was going through treatment. He survived, its been over five years. And yes, I am in love with my dog.

The reason I asked is because her dog, Lucille, is also "she". I have the book but have not read it. I think I will.
