3. A fictional Irish politician in Chicago at the turn of the century.
Which is great, since I know next to nothing about Chicago politics in 1893, but I'm learning some stuff!

The assignment is to assume the identity of a person living in the United States in 1893, while discussing then-current events, social, recreational, religious, occupational aspects of the person's life.
