What music do you like to work out to?
I'm putting together my iPod playlist for the gym, and am looking for inspiration. Almost all of what I have so far is hip hop, soul and funk...

Rock Steady Aretha Franklin
Superstarr, Pt. 0 K-Os
Work It Missy Elliott
Milkshake Kelis
The Nitty Gritty Gladys Knight & The Pips
If That's Your Boyfriend (He Wasn't Last Night) Me'Shell Ndegéocello Rollout (My Business) Ludacris
Bouncin' Back (Bumpin' Me Against the Wall) Mystikal
Hey Ya! OutKast
My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It) En Vogue
Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground) The Jacksons
You Are the Universe The Brand New Heavies

22. Same here
That, or offspring, the black and white disc.

I'll settle for whatever's on at the climbing gym, though, because I'm happy just to be there! :bounce:

3. When I work out
it's usually Yoga. So mostly I play Enya or Bauhaus. Enya is all cool and soothing (especially Watermark) while Bauhaus tends to get my blood pumping. When I'm in a really nasty mood I work out to Diamanda Galas - she's so damn scary you'll work your butt off to get through the workout and turn the damn iPod off. Very motivating.

Khash.

20. She scares the hell out of me
Her cover of "I Put A Spell On You" makes me want to hide under the bed and never ever come out. I have an interview with her in "Angry Women" which is truly terrifying. She's asked about how she feels about men. She says she likes 'em, especially fucking 'em with chainsaws. And it sounds like she really means it.

"Yes I confess, give me sodomy or give me death!"

Khash.

4. But there have been times when I'm listening to RATM
at the gym on my headphones, and I suddenly start blurting out "fuck you, I won't do what you tell me" as I'm sprinting on the treadmill, which always gets people talking.

11. NO SEX THREADS!
Just thinking about working out screws up my day and makes me fucking tired. Exercise blows. Only pricks and pussies work out.

Exercise, in general, is a real cock-up.

12. You have to be kidding. Who works out?
I have enough of a workout when I take my dog for a walk. We go down to a big field down a hill in back of my house. I let her go to run then have to chase after her just to make sure she doesn't get into trouble. Then I have to walk up the hill back home. I think that is enough of a workout.

21. You've gotta be kidding
Work out? I do wrist exercises every day when I have my after work drink. And I lift weights when I pick up my cat. Oh, and I get my aerobics in when I run to my car because I'm late for work. But I'm not usually listening to music at those times...
