weird cell phone call

Last night I got a call on my cell phone from a restaurant asking me when I was going to pick up my order. I told them I had not made an order. The person at the restaurant said "yes, you did. The call came from this number." I said it wasn't me and hung up. Do you think someone is somehow using my cell phone number or could it just be a case of someone writing down a wrong number adn it just happened to be mine? Although it sounded like they used caller ID. Customer Service at Cingular is closed right now so I can't talk to them until tomorrow.

They said my order was egg rolls and something else, I can't remember what.

After I tell them I want to make a call in order they say - Wu you wahn ? I tell them and then they say - ten minit, ok ?

two words... Get Sprint! (they never close *2/ Customer Svc)


second... seriously this time ... It is becoming more and more common that people are spoofing cell numbers. Make certain to follow up with customer care once they open!!! They could potentially be making calls on your bill... or (less likely) using your number to become YOU... aka identity theft.

just check to make certain some odd stuff isn't happening.

11. I got a call the other day....

I said, "Hello."

The guy says, "Hey, Tom, sorry to interrupt your meeting, but blah blah blah..."

I let him go on for a little while before I said, "Uh, dude, I think you have the wrong number."

That was weird.
